The swiss pianist Christina Harnisch took her concert diplome with Franz Joseph Hirt at the Berne Conservatory and University. After working with Eduardo Vercelli in Neuchatel, Switzerland, she obtained the Diplome de virtuosité. She won several study prices and subsequently embarked on further pianistic studies with Yvonne Lefébure in Paris and Lisbon, Louis Kentner in London, Vitalij Margulis in Freiburg, Germany and Bruno Mezzena in Italy. Since then, the versatile musician has continually appeared on the concert stage in Switzerland and abroad (Europe, America) as a soloist in piano recitals and orchestra concerts ( Südwestdeutsche Pilharmonie, Berner Sinfonoeorchester, San Francisco Sinfonietta and others ). She also takes part in chamber music performances. She has won various study awards and has given solo performances in Vienna, Konzerthaus, and London, Purcell-room where she gave the first perfomance in England of several pieces by Arthur Honegger and Zürich, Tonhalle. In 2006 she made a big tour through China with concerts in the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, Hangzhou Grand Theater and other cities.Her repertoire ranges from Bach to contemporary music. One main focus lies on the works of woman composers (Cécile Chaminade, Klara Schumann, Grazyna Bacewicz a.o.). She gives workshops and masterclasses on universities and conservatories. Recently she has undertaken an extended tours in Latinamerica and in the USA. She also played in international musicfestivals, f.e. at Heraklion, Greece, Sucre, Bolivia, and piano festival in Freiburg i/Br. Several CDs and radio performances round off the artistic work of this pianist.
Radio and CD recordings.2009 two big tours, one in Latinamerica and one in China. with solorecitals, concert with the Orquesta Nacional del Peru. She played in halls like  the Museo Nacional de los Incas ,Lima (Peru),and the Shanghai Oriental Art Center in Shanghai
Duo recitals with Romano Pucci , the first flutist of the Milan Scala orchestra, 2009 China tour with several concerts, with a great success in the Shanghai “Oriental Art Center”.
